Inducted into the Olympic Hall of Fame in 2019 in recognition of her contribution to Olympic film making, Caroline Rowland is a highly respected business leader who was recognised as one of the 10 most influential people in securing the Olympic Games for London in 2012 and who has helped multiple cities and countries win hosting rights to major international sports events.
Caroline is recognised as both a creative leader and innovator who has a deep understanding of the relationship between technology and communication. She founded New Moon in 1996 and grew the business to become a multi - million dollar a year agency, building an extensive archive of digital rights which was successfully sold and which initiated the creation of the Ai-enabled video asset management system, EGOLI.

Caroline is British / Swiss and was educated in South Africa. She has twice been nominated as Entrepreneur of the Year in Britain, was awarded South African Woman in Business of the Year in 2013 and nominated as British South African Business Leader of the year in 2015. In 2016, Caroline was awarded the Distinguished Rhodian Award by her Alma Mater, Rhodes University. Her creative awards include an Emmy nomination for ‘FIRST: The Official Film of the London 2012 Olympic Games’ and more than 100 other awards including the IVCA Grand Prix and New York Festivals Grand Prix. And most recently, her tech start-up Egoli Media, was a finalist in the 2021 Campaign Tech Start Up of the Year.
Caroline is highly commercially astute, but with a strong creative insight and enviable global network. She brings a pragmatic approach to problem solving at a senior level and her experience as a documentary filmmaker furnishes her with a unique ability to access people, information, assets and proprietary insights to the benefit of the businesses she advises. A former competitive swimmer, Caroline is an enthusiastic horsewoman, racehorse owner and breeder, golfer, keen skier and private pilot.
