BT Sport Industry Awards
The Integrity and Impact Award founded by Dow Jones Sports Intelligence was presented at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2018 to former gymnast Rachael Denhollander, the first woman to publically accuse former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar of sexual abuse.
After her first courageous step to speak out, Denhollander was also significantly the last of more than 150 women and girls to confront Nasser in the US courtroom in harrowing and emotional scenes during his sentencing hearing for criminal sexual conduct.
ESPN Special Olympics Unified Sports has become the official charity partner of the BT Sport Industry Awards after agreeing a new partnership with event organisers, Sport Industry Group.
2018 marks ESPN’s 30th anniversary since it began supporting the Special Olympics, ahead of the Special Olympics’ 50th anniversary later this year.
The Sustainability Initiative of the Year was introduced for the first time in 2018 to highlight and celebrate the very best organisations whose actions have empowered, promoted and embraced environmental sustainability in sport, while positively impacting business results.

Stamp Productions, an independent sports content production company, has been commissioned to produce the film content for the BT Sport Industry Awards 2018 - the largest commercial sports awards in the world, taking place at Battersea Evolution in London, on Thursday 26th April 2018.
Budweiser has teamed up with Sport Industry Group to become the official beer supplier of the BT Sport Industry Awards 2017, taking place on Thursday 27th April.
Budweiser bottles will be available for guests of the event, with senior leaders from agencies, brands, governing bodies, rights holders, media and more joining stars from sport and beyond at Battersea Evolution.

Laduma’s Virtual Reality technology will be at the heart of this year’s BT Sport Industry Awards with the Official Shortlist revealed in VR. Each of those shortlisted in 15 categories will experience a bespoke and immersive piece of VR on a custom, branded cardboard VR headset.

The Invictus Games Foundation and Sport Industry Group have come together in partnership to help create career opportunities for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women in the sport industry.

Kelly Simmons MBE, FA Participation and Development Director, received the Leadership in Sport Award, in association with Nolan Partners at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2016 on Thursday 28th April.
Simmons, who has been a driving force behind the growth of and participation in the women’s game, was presented the Award by Chelsea Ladies FC star Eniola Aluko and Journalist and Broadcaster Dan Walker in front of 1,750 of the sport industry’s most influential figures, organisations and celebrities.
