Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Games partner Bridgestone has launched a new exclusive content series taking fans behind the scenes of the Team GB Tokyo 2020 Preparation Camp.

Team GB Trains, presented by Bridgestone, will share footage from inside the Tokyo 2020 training camp, as Team GB athletes take on their final preparations to compete on the world stage.

The 10-part content series features the likes of football, rugby sevens, boxing, and athletics and will give viewers an exclusive look inside the training facilities in Tokyo, as well as capturing medal hopefuls in action. The unseen footage will also include commentary from the athletes as they get ready for the Games.

Bridgestone is an Official Partner of the Tokyo 2020 Games, which will take place in its home town, and home country of Japan. The company says it aims to inspire people of all ages, abilities, and passions to chase their dreams as pat of its ‘Chase Your Dream, No Matter What’ campaign.

“With excitement growing with the rapid approach of Tokyo 2020, Bridgestone UK is excited to launch ‘Team GB Trains’ in collaboration with Team GB,” said Andy Mathias, Marketing Manager, Bridgestone UK.

“We hope the launch will provide fans with a unique insight into the lives of an Olympian in the buildup to such an event, while also helping inspire the public to chase their dreams, no matter what, as many Team GB athletes have done.”

Scott Field, Director of Communications and Marketing, BOA, added: “Team GB’s class of 2021 is potentially the most talented team we’ve taken to an Olympic Games and our Preparation Camp is the perfect way to ready our athletes for the Games. Showcasing the behind-the-scenes footage of the athletes prior to the event is a great way to build excitement, while also providing a more personal perspective of the public’s heroes. We are proud to partner with Bridgestone on such an exciting series.”

The series will be hosted on Team GB’s social and digital channels and aims to create excitement in the build-up to the Games.
