EA SPORTS is challenging norms with the launch of its FIFA 20 promotional trailer.
Developed with Adam&EveDDB, the trailer focuses on changing the perception of ‘wrong’, featuring Raheem Sterling, who was honoured for his social activism with the Integrity and Impact Award at the Sport Industry Awards 2019. The Manchester City forward supposedly “runs wrong and has the wrong tattoo,” but instead develops his own unique style.
The spot includes England international Jadon Sancho and Real Madrid attacker Vinicius Jr as well as Sterling, while boxer Anthony Joshua - whose collaboration with EA SPORTS for the new FIFA game includes the launch of a five-a-side pitch in London’s Shoreditch - also features.
The game itself will see the return of a FIFA Street-style five-a-side mode, VOLTA, which allows players to play on urban pitches in cities around the world, playing on diverse local urban cultures and the sport of football’s worldwide appeal.
