Eurosport will air a new special 10-part series celebrating the ‘sporting heroes who inspired meaningful change’.
Entitled Trailblazers, the series will debut on 8th February, with the first instalment centring on Serena Williams. Further iterations will look at the likes of Jesse Owens, Cathy Freeman, Arthur Ashe, and Billie Jean King.
Created by boutique sports consultancy and production company, Refresh, who leveraged their network of talent to authentically convey real life stories, will feature animation, design, and narration to 'unlock the power of sport'.
The series, produced, directed and written by Drew Christie, and executive produced by Refresh Founder, broadcaster and Sport Industry NextGen Coach Leon Mann, will shine a light on the athletes that ‘helped shape the world we live in today’.
