FIFA and the World Health Organisation (WHO), have launched a new video series with a host of famous football coaches in a bid to promote ‘five key tactics’ for stopping the spread of coronavirus.

The pair announced last week that they would collaborate on a ‘range of initiatives’ designed to tackle the spread of the pandemic, and FIFA has enlisted its Head of Global Football Development, Arsene Wenger, along with Jose Mourinho, Mauricio Pochettino, Manchester United Women coach Casey Stoney and former US Women’s National team boss Jill Ellis to raise awareness of the steps the public can take to limit the reach of the disease.

In line with the WHO’s basic protective measures against the disease, the top coaches unveil their five-step game plan to defeat the virus: washing your hands frequently, coughing and sneezing into your elbow rather than hands, avoiding touching your face, keeping at least one metre distance from others, and staying at home if you feel unwell.
