HSBC has committed to creating opportunity in the world of sevens, by helping make the game more diverse, more open and more sustainable.

The bank believe that if you can see it, you can be it, so one of the ways they bring this commitment to life is to work alongside partners to tell the stories of some of the inspiring athletes of the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, celebrating individuals who are trailblazers and difference-makers.

Jordan Conroy is a fantastic example. In his life he has faced huge challenges. Crossing cultures and overcoming prejudice. Escaping domestic abuse and challenging living environments. Being told that rugby wasn't right for him. But thanks to an ecosystem of support around him, he was able to overcome these challenges to become one of the best players on the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series.

In the latest episode of 'The Remarkables', HSBC speak to the individuals that supported him, as well as Jordan himself, to hear just how he unlocked this opportunity in the face of huge challenge, in a story that is set to inspire people around the world to follow in his footsteps.

It is the latest piece of content to come from HSBC following the amazing stories of the likes of Jodie Ounsley, Danielle Waterman, Ruby Tui, Ghislaine Landry and Perry Baker.
