Land Rover launches Lions content series

Land Rover has launched a new series of films ahead of this summer’s British & Irish Lions Tour to South Africa.

The brand is an Official Sponsor, and aims to celebrate a Tour ‘unlike any other’, with fans unable to travel to see the team.

A series of short films aims to ‘distil the sense of adventure’ that sits at the heart of a Lions Tour, and has enlisted its highest profile ambassadors to help fans celebrate from home.

Featuring the likes of Brian O’Driscoll, Jason Robinson, Maro Itoje, Owen Farrell, Martin Johnson and Sam Warburton, the series also calls upon cameo appearances from the likes of Zara Tindall.

The first episode in the Land Rover series of films features former rugby player David Flatman, Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood and current Lions fullback and Scotland international Stuart Hogg, celebrating the culture of the host nation; South Africa, through a wilderness inspired Braai, 

As well as a five part series of films, Land Rover is also encouraging families and rugby fans to join the Lions Adventure through a digital treasure hunt. The brand has geo-tagged locations across the UK with a ‘digital Lion’ that can be found and tagged, allowing participants to enter into a competition to win exclusive Land Rover prizes.
