LTA launches influencer-hosted skills series

The LTA has launched a new digital mini-series – The Showdown - set to run across LTA and influencer channels over the course of the next six weeks in a bid to appeal to younger audiences. 

The Showdown brings together notable names from the realm of British tennis, sport and social media, who taking part in a variety of tennis-themed challenges – for viewers to get involved with. British Olympian, Aimee Fuller, acts as host.

The Showdown is part of the LTA’s Play Your Way campaign drive to show off how accessible tennis is, and remind the public it is open for business this summer. 

Hand-in-hand with the Play Your Way campaign, the LTA has also launched a major long-term strategic drive to grow participation in tennis across parks throughout the country by supporting local authorities with cost-free opportunities to improve the health and wellbeing of their communities through tennis, and ensure their tennis venues are sustainable for the future.
