On Thursday 30th April, the great and the good of the sport sector should have been descending upon Evolution London for the Sport Industry Awards 2020 – the industry’s biggest night of the year.
Instead, we are all staying home and staying safe.
And while we’ll all get together again in person soon, we still want to mark the original evening anyway, and as such, the industry is invited to come together for the first ever Sport Industry Awards Movie Night; a celebration of the drama, excitement and success that sport has shared with us all over the last 10 years.
Starting at 8.15pm on Thursday 30th April, we’ll be showing you five of the very best Sport Industry Awards Opening Films from the past decade, offering a small glimpse into the action that has taken our breath away and kept us on the edge of our seat.
So grab a drink, get the household together, and enjoy some of sport’s best moments from the comfort of your own home.

Time: 20:15 – 20:45, Thursday 30th April
Location: Your own home
“The opening films have built such a reputation over the years, we’re proud how much they have meant to every one of you that has attended the Awards,” said Alex Coulson, Managing Director of Sport Industry Group.
“Sadly, on the 30th April the industry won’t be able to come together in person for the 2020 edition as planned, but we hope we can bring that special moment to you all in your own homes instead. There have been some incredible films over the years and it’ll be an hour of special moments, incredible achievements and cherished memories. We look forward to celebrating with you in person later in the year for the rescheduled Sport Industry Awards 2020.”
