TikTok has ‘re-booted’ its Where Fans Play ad ahead of the UEFA EURO 2020 final.
To capture the ‘fever-pitch excitement’, the social media platform and creative agency Dark Horses have recreated the ad to include highlights from this year’s tournament, including a Cristiano Ronaldo celebration, post-match team talks with Gareth Bale, and new user-generated content such as videos from fans supporting the game from their own back gardens.
TikTok says the work captures its ‘speedy ability’ to post, react and adapt to live events, with the platform having also recently changed its LED boards in support of Pride in the middle of the tournament. It says it will also do so for the final.
The campaign launches on TV across Europe on 9th July, two days before the Final between Italy and England on Sunday 11th.
